Day 2 - Self Introduction Practice

Main Idea: Learn how to structure and deliver a complete self-introduction confidently.

Key Points:

  • What to Include: Course & recent projects, Hobbies & interests, Schooling/college, Family background, Achievements
  • Content Example: Pursuing B.Tech (CSE), Knowledge of C, C++, Java, Projects done (basic practical work), Hobbies (playing games, audiobooks), Completed online certifications (AWS), Interested in (DAA, DSA, OS, Cyber Security)
  • Family Details: Father (Army officer), Mother (Homemaker), Sibling (Sister, schooling)

Day 3 - Product Pitch (Railway Ticket System)

Main Idea: Learn how to present a product idea clearly, highlighting problem, solution, and benefits.

Key Points:

  • Problem (Traditional System): Data redundancy, Slow processing, Security risks (passenger data)
  • Solution: Designed a DBMS-based centralized system, Stores data in a structured and organized way, Enables easy ticket booking & fast data retrieval
  • Features: Centralized database, Quick access to information, Improved data management
  • USP (Unique Selling Point): Secure, Scalable, Efficient, Handles high user traffic, Better user interface

Day 4 - Extempore Speaking

Main Idea: Learn to speak instantly on a topic without preparation.

Key Points:

  • Speak clearly and confidently
  • Organize thoughts quickly (Intro → Points → Conclusion)
  • Use simple and understandable language
  • Maintain eye contact & body language

Structure to Follow:

  • Introduction: Define the topic
  • Main Points: 2–3 key ideas/examples
  • Conclusion: Short summary or opinion

Tips:
✔ Think for a few seconds before speaking
✔ Don’t panic if you make mistakes
✔ Keep sentences short
✔ Stay on topic

Day 5 - Essay Writing

Main Idea: Learn to write clear, structured, and meaningful essays.

Key Points:

  • Use simple and correct language
  • Maintain proper grammar & clarity
  • Stick to the topic (no irrelevant points)

Structure to Follow:

  • Introduction: Briefly introduce the topic
  • Body: Explain ideas with points/examples
  • Conclusion: Summarize + give final thought

Tips:

✔ Use linking words (Firstly, Moreover, Finally)
✔ Avoid repetition

Day 6 - Group Discussion (GD)

Main Idea: Learn to share ideas clearly and interact effectively in a group.

Key Points:

  • Speak clearly and confidently
  • Listen to others and don’t interrupt
  • Add relevant points to the discussion
  • Respect different opinions

How to Perform Well:

  • Start with a clear introduction of the topic
  • Give logical points with examples
  • Build on others’ ideas (don’t repeat)
  • Keep your points short and meaningful

Do's:

Don'ts:

  • Keep resume 1 page and clean
  • Use bullet points (not long paragraphs)
  • Highlight skills & projects
  • Emphasis on DSA, projects, and skills (Algo University focus)

Day 9 - Resume Review

Main Idea: Understand how to improve your resume by following correct practices and avoiding common mistakes.

  • Add relevant keywords (DSA, projects, tech skills)
